Indonesian is the official language
of the Republic of Indonesia [1] and linguistic unity of Indonesia. [2]
Indonesian inaugurated after the proclamation of independence of
Indonesia, precisely the day after, along with the entry into force of

From the linguistic point
of view, the Indonesian language is one of the many varieties of Malay.

citizens of Indonesia, Indonesian language is not the mother tongue for
most speakers. Most of the citizens of Indonesia using one
of 748 languages in Indonesia as a mother tongue. [6] Indonesian
Speakers often use everyday version (kolokial) and / or mixing with
other Malay dialect or mother tongue. Nonetheless,
Indonesian language is used very widely in universities, in the media,
literature, software, official correspondence, and other public forums,
[7] so that it can be said that the Indonesian is used by all citizens
of Indonesia.
